Who is the PTO?
YOU are the PTO! All parents of NES students, as well as all NES Teachers & Staff, are considered to be members of the PTO and are welcome to attend meetings to share ideas about the PTO and its activities. If you are unable to attend a meeting, but are interested in volunteering or have a suggestion,
please contact the NES PTO at NorthfieldElementaryPTO@gmail.com.
Why should you get involved with the NES PTO?
Children Benefit - Research shows that children perform better when their parents participate in their child’s school and are engaged in their education.
School Benefits - The PTO provides support for the teachers and staff while striving to create a positive and caring atmosphere in the school community.
You Benefit - Volunteering with the NES PTO allows you to contribute your skills and knowledge for the benefit of not only your child, but for your school community. Being involved with the PTO helps you stay connected with the school while helping you gain a broader perspective of how you play an important role in the school community. You will make connections with other parents and school community members who share a common goal of making NES the best it can be!
