Enrichment Programs

The purpose of enrichment programs is to provide educational assemblies that will engage the children while also being fun and entertaining. The PTO strives to bring a variety of educational programs to the school including musical performances, science presentations and live animals. Every school year, the PTO budget includes funding for school enrichment programs. To provide additional funding for these programs, the PTO applies for grants from the Northfield Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. The NES PTO has been fortunate to receive multiple grants from the Northfield Cultural Council over the years and appreciates their support.
